Hi you all,
I am just glad that there is an organization like yours out there. I am extremely enthused this year about the holidays. Last year I had a baby boy named Ajani on 12-1-05, what a Blessing. Ajani has a big sister named Asiya. When I think about how wonderful a daughter I have I sometimes tear up. Numerous teachers and neighbors comment on her character, one teacher stated that "I wish I had 100 students like her." you know I was beaming. What it comes down to is that I was laid off from my job July 6, 2006, then two days later Asiya and Ajani's Dad was laid off, but we pushed on I have found some part time work and am starting a business and Dad just started working about three weeks ago, but only makes minimum wage. We need to catch up on water, electric, and gas bills so I am so scared that I won't be able to honor my sweet helpful little girl. I mean this girl really sticks up for the "underdogs". Please if you can see fit to assist me in anyway, my hope will be restored that it is okay to be human and ask for help sometimes. I just want to see a true smile on Asiya's face Christmas Day.
